Well, I just spent last week attending a training class on the fascinating subject of "Cisco Internetworking Technologies".  After 5 days of hardcore, in-depth tech I had two choices: perform ritual suicide or do something creative.  The carpet cleaning service will be happy to know I decided on the later.   The end result is a pair of new photos added to the Panoramic Photos section.  I've assembled two: one of Hayden Valley in Yellowstone and one of Helen Lake up at Lassen Volcanic National Park.

Other than a last minute trip I took to Kings Canyon / Sequoia, no other new content has really been added to the site.  I'm going camping in the Eastern Sierra's next weekend and then it's September so hopefully both the crowds and temperatures will start to decrease.  I'm hoping to take a less stressful trip back to Sequoia and a trip back out to southern Utah before the cold really sets in; then maybe I'll explore around Joshua Tree, Anza Borrego, Pinnacles and other stuff closer to home.

Installation of Sprint ST Pannier Rails

Obtaining the Pannier Rails (the racks the hard case luggage installs on) for my 2000 Triumph Sprint ST was quite an ordeal.  I purchased the rails and cases on eBay and had them shipped, only to...

How was this website constructed?

I've spent quite a bit of time on the creation of this website.  The first consideration I had was ease of maintenance.  In the past, I've tried to handcode everything from scratch a...
