Description:
Its hard to miss Basin Mountain just west of Bishop, CA with Its distinctive bowl formed below the summit. Unfortunately, the clouds that you see were blowing around 30 to 40 mph and as we sat there and contemplated where to go hiking, our campsite was getting inundated with gravel and sand driven by those same winds.
